This artwork by Damien Hirst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2007. In the Contemporary Evening auction, the work Lullaby Spring sold for GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000,000.00. This high result makes Lullaby Spring the most expensive artwork by Damien Hirst that we have observed at auctions so far.
