In September 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Farm Scene by Dale William Nichols. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 32,166.75), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dale William Nichols - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Farm Scene, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,672.19).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 32.166,75) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Dale William Nichols mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Farm Scene beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 112.500,00 (€ 99.672,19) versteigert wurde.
