Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Visiting Friends In Pine Mountains by Dai Jin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 850,000.00 (€ 93,552.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dai Jin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 461,000.00 (€ 359,706.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Visiting Friends In Pine Mountains von Dai Jin kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 850.000,00 (€ 93.552,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Dai Jin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 461.000,00 (€ 359.706,62) versteigert wurde.
