The work Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers by Dai Jin was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. The price achieved of USD 461,000.00 (€ 359,706.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers is the most expensive artwork by Dai Jin that we have observed at auctions so far.
