Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Battle Scene With Animals by Dai Jin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 42,500.00 (€ 33,058.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dai Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 359,706.62).

Die Arbeit Battle Scene With Animals von Dai Jin kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 33.058,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dai Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grand View Of Mountains And Rivers im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 359.706,62).
