Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Volume by Dadamaino. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 22,000.00 – 28,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,680.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dadamaino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Volume in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 157,358.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Volume von Dadamaino zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 22.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.680,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dadamaino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Volume im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 157.358,56).
