A top price for Dadamaino - as previously expected
The work Volume by Dadamaino was sold in the The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art auction at Phillips in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 173,000.00 (€ 157,358.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Volume is the most expensive artwork by Dadamaino that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Volume von Dadamaino wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 157.358,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Volume das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dadamaino, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
