The work Heerenlux by Daan van Golden was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 100,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daan van Golden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front), which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 266,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Heerenlux von Daan van Golden kam im April 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 100.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 266.500,00 versteigert wurde.
