This artwork by D*Face achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2020. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work United State of America - 2008 sold for EUR 2,210.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by D*Face achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 36,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von D*Face erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit United State of America - 2008 für EUR 2.210,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von D*Face erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.400,00.
