Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Sans Titre - 2013 by D*Face. The price achieved of EUR 7,150.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by D*Face have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 36,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2013 von D*Face zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.150,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von D*Face auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.400,00.
