Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Snap Bean / Seven-character Poem in Cursive Script by Cui Zifan was auctioned at Christies in New York in August this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,667.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Zifan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum blossoms and Cranes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red Snap Bean / Seven-character Poem in Cursive Script von Cui Zifan kam im August diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.667,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Zifan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum blossoms and Cranes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44).
