Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Morning Scenery in Spring by Cui Zifan was worth HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,252.41) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Cui Zifan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum blossoms and Cranes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Morning Scenery in Spring von Cui Zifan war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.252,41) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cui Zifan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum blossoms and Cranes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44).
