This artwork by Cui Zifan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Lotus And Two Birds sold for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,910.10) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cui Zifan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum blossoms and Cranes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cui Zifan erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Lotus And Two Birds für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.910,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cui Zifan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum blossoms and Cranes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44).
