Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bolshoi Ballet School, Moscow, 1958 by Cornell Capa was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,303.05). Admittedly, works by Cornell Capa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bolshoi Ballet School, Moscow in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,188.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bolshoi Ballet School, Moscow, 1958 von Cornell Capa kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.303,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornell Capa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bolshoi Ballet School, Moscow im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.188,37).
