However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelius Johnson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Thomas, 1St Baron Coventry (1578-1640), Lord Keeper Of The Great Seal, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,134.62).
