Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of CAD 77,250.00 (€ 51,523.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelius Krieghoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Visitors In Winter, which sold at auction in November 2012 for CAD 221,000.00 (€ 171,041.43).
