Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of CAD 18,000.00 (€ 13,448.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelius Krieghoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visitors In Winter in November 2012 with an auction result of CAD 221,000.00 (€ 171,041.43).

Die Arbeit Fording A River von Cornelius Krieghoff kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CAD 18.000,00 (€ 13.448,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%.
