Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Torso Vestido by Cornelis Zitman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,348.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Zitman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lunera in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Torso Vestido von Cornelis Zitman kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.348,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Zitman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lunera im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 60.169,73).
