The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,215.99), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Zitman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lunera, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).
