A top price for Cornelis Zitman
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Lunera by Cornelis Zitman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73), 44% above the upper estimate. With this result, Lunera is even the most expensive work of art by Cornelis Zitman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lunera von Cornelis Zitman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 60.169,73) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Lunera sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cornelis Zitman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
