Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Miami Beach by Cornelis Zitman was sold in the Post- War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Zitman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lunera in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).
