Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Negrita - Negro girl by Cornelis Zitman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2010. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Zitman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lunera in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Negrita - Negro girl von Cornelis Zitman kam im Juni 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Zitman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lunera im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 60.169,73).
