Admittedly, works by Cornelis Springer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View Of The Westerstraat In Enkhuizen In Summer in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,104,000.00.

Die Arbeit The Wijdstraat, Oudewater, in summer von Cornelis Springer kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 141.643,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Springer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View Of The Westerstraat In Enkhuizen In Summer im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.104.000,00.
