Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work The entrance to St. Martin's Church at the Balveren Chapel, Zaltbommel by Cornelis Springer for GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,446.39). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Springer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View Of The Westerstraat In Enkhuizen In Summer in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,104,000.00.

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00.
