Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Delft by Cornelis Springer was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 58,466.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Springer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View Of The Westerstraat In Enkhuizen In Summer in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,104,000.00.
