Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding the geese on the waterside by Cornelis Koppenol was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Koppenol - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Happy family, which sold at auction in March 2000 for NLG 9,946.70 (€ 4,231.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feeding the geese on the waterside von Cornelis Koppenol kam im September 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Koppenol mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Happy family beobachtet, die im März 2000 für NLG 9.946,70 (€ 4.231,56) versteigert wurde.
