In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street by Cornelis Dusart. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93). With this result, A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street is even the most expensive work of art by Cornelis Dusart that we have observed at auctions so far.
