Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work A Man Reading A Letter Before A Table by Cornelis Dusart for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,915.06). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Dusart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Man Reading A Letter Before A Table von Cornelis Dusart für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.915,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Dusart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 75.482,93).
