Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Violin-Player seated in the Inn by Cornelis Dusart was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 auction at Christies in London in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,266.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Dusart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Violin-Player seated in the Inn von Cornelis Dusart wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 bei Christies in London versteigert.
