It achieved a price of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,844.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Botke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snow-capped mountain and cherry tree 36 x 45 3/8in, which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 11,325.00 (€ 10,268.38).

Die Arbeit Eucalypti von Cornelis Botke wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.844,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Botke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snow-capped mountain and cherry tree 36 x 45 3/8in beobachtet, die im März 2020 für USD 11.325,00 (€ 10.268,38) versteigert wurde.
