Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Pictures and Prints Online, which included the work The day they took over the world by Conroy Maddox. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,160.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conroy Maddox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poltergeist in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Pictures and Prints Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The day they took over the world von Conroy Maddox zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.160,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conroy Maddox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poltergeist im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
