This artwork by Conrad Wise Chapman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Skating in the Bois de Boulogne sold for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,236.70) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Wise Chapman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Of Mexico From The Hacienda De Los Morales in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 348,500.00 (€ 329,457.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conrad Wise Chapman erzielte im Juni 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Skating in the Bois de Boulogne für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.236,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Wise Chapman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Of Mexico From The Hacienda De Los Morales im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 348.500,00 (€ 329.457,36).
