Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art including Barbizon, Realist and, which included the work The Mandolin Player by Conrad Kiesel. It changed hands for a price of USD 141,900.00 (€ 115,553.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Conrad Kiesel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2003 the work The Mandolin Player was auctioned for GBP 106,050.00 (€ 150,205.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Barbizon, Realist and durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mandolin Player von Conrad Kiesel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 141.900,00 (€ 115.553,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Conrad Kiesel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2003 die Arbeit The Mandolin Player für GBP 106.050,00 (€ 150.205,93) versteigert.
