Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Pictures, which included the work H.M.S. Kent, Kola Run Convoy, 1942 by Eric Erskine Campbell Tufnell. It changed hands for a price of GBP 456.00 (€ 665.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Other works by Eric Erskine Campbell Tufnell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work H.M.S. Punjabi In Arctic Waters (Illustrated); H.M.S. Calder In A Heavy Swell; H.M.S. Inconstant In A Convoy; And H.M.S. Welfare Before The Forth Bridge was auctioned for GBP 660.00 (€ 980.12).

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit H.M.S. Kent, Kola Run Convoy, 1942 von Eric Erskine Campbell Tufnell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 665,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Eric Erskine Campbell Tufnell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2006 die Arbeit H.M.S. Punjabi In Arctic Waters (Illustrated); H.M.S.
