Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bottom Only by Collier Schorr was auctioned at Phillips in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,014.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Collier Schorr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Collage (Marie), which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bottom Only von Collier Schorr kam im Dezember 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.014,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Collier Schorr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16) versteigert wurde.
