In February 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Handle With Care, which included the work Broken Nose by Collier Schorr. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,295.54), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Collier Schorr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Collage (Marie), which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Handle With Care durch, in der auch die Arbeit Broken Nose von Collier Schorr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.295,54) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Collier Schorr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16) versteigert wurde.
