Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Colin Self could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work All That Jazz changed hands for GBP 510.00 (€ 569.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Self achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For A Diorama, Possibly Including Mickey Mouse in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,051.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Colin Self konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wechselte die Arbeit All That Jazz für GBP 510,00 (€ 569,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Self erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For A Diorama, Possibly Including Mickey Mouse im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.051,81).
