Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening Landscape with Boats by Colin Middleton was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,574.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Middleton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allotments, Belfast in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).
