Admittedly, works by Colin Middleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allotments, Belfast in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 30.565,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Colin Middleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allotments, Belfast im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 132.441,09).
