Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl Calling by Colin Middleton was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,944.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Colin Middleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allotments, Belfast in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.944,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Colin Middleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allotments, Belfast im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 132.441,09).
