However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Colin Middleton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Allotments, Belfast, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.544,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Colin Middleton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Allotments, Belfast beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 90.000,00 (€ 132.441,09) versteigert wurde.
