The work August Landscape by Colin Middleton was sold in the Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,081.47), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Colin Middleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allotments, Belfast in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).

Die Arbeit August Landscape von Colin Middleton wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.081,47) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Colin Middleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allotments, Belfast im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 132.441,09).
