Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vintage by Colin Lanceley was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in August 2003. It achieved a price of AUD 998.75 (€ 590.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Lanceley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heroic Personage in August 2004 with an auction result of AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,016.50).

Die Arbeit Vintage von Colin Lanceley kam im August 2003 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 998,75 (€ 590,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Lanceley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heroic Personage im August 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 15.535,00 (€ 9.016,50).
