Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest Oracle by Colin Lanceley was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in May 2005. The price achieved of AUD 2,629.00 (€ 1,616.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Colin Lanceley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heroic Personage in August 2004 with an auction result of AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,016.50).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.629,00 (€ 1.616,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
