Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2007 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works, which included the work Australian Summer Night by Colin Lanceley. The price achieved of AUD 10,200.00 (€ 6,099.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Colin Lanceley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2004 the work Heroic Personage was auctioned for AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,016.50).

Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Summer Night von Colin Lanceley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 10.200,00 (€ 6.099,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Colin Lanceley konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2004 die Arbeit Heroic Personage für AUD 15.535,00 (€ 9.016,50) versteigert.
