Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Stillife with soupterrine and flowers by Coba Ritsema. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,346.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Coba Ritsema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The yellow flower in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 24,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stillife with soupterrine and flowers von Coba Ritsema zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.346,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Coba Ritsema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The yellow flower im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.000,00.
