Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work 'Vruchten Op Schaal' by Coba Ritsema. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,200.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Coba Ritsema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The yellow flower in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 24,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Vruchten Op Schaal' von Coba Ritsema zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.200,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Coba Ritsema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The yellow flower im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.000,00.
