Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Clifford Fishwick for USD 1,000.00 (€ 740.74). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clifford Fishwick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dartmoor Panorama, which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,896.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Clifford Fishwick für USD 1.000,00 (€ 740,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Clifford Fishwick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dartmoor Panorama beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.896,50) versteigert wurde.
