This artwork by Clifford Fishwick achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2003. In the 20TH C BRIT ART INC. WORKS FROM THE STUDIO OF HILDA CARLINE auction, the work Still life; and Abstract sold for GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,402.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Clifford Fishwick; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dartmoor Panorama sold at auction in December 2014 with the realized price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,896.50).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Clifford Fishwick; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dartmoor Panorama im Dezember 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.896,50).
