Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Clifford Fishwick could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 462.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Clifford Fishwick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dartmoor Panorama in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,896.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Clifford Fishwick konnte im Januar 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clifford Fishwick auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dartmoor Panorama im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.896,50).
